Former AutoTrader, Cox Automotive Executive Joins as Chief Strategy Officer
St. Louis, MO. June 10, 2025 – WarrCloud, the leading automated warranty processing provider for automotive dealers, today announced Paul Whitworth has joined WarrCloud as its new Chief Strategy Officer. Whitworth brings a wealth of experience from prominent roles at AutoTrader.ca and Cox Automotive.

In his new role, Whitworth will oversee WarrCloud’s product and development, focusing on expanding the company’s automation platform to more dealers and increasing claims automation, using AI and other tools, across all supported brands. He will also be instrumental in identifying and coordinating strategic initiatives, including mergers and acquisitions, working closely with the executive team to capitalize on new opportunities.

Most recently, Whitworth served as President and Chief Product Officer at AutoTrader.ca. Prior to that Paul was an SVP at Cox Automotive, where he oversaw the growth of iconic companies such as vAuto, Kelley Blue Book and DealerTrack. Additionally, he currently sits on the Board of AutoFi and is an Operating Partner with Automotive Ventures. His extensive background also includes stints with Reynolds, AutoPoint, Hyundai and Accenture.
